On Monday night under the lights at Townie Stadium, Lincoln and East Providence tied 2-2 in a thrilling soccer match.
With 12 minutes left in the first half, East Providence scored into the left side of the net to take a 1-0 lead.
Lincoln senior Jaxon Harris scored a goal 16 minutes into the 2nd half to bring the game back even, 1-1.
Shortly after, Lincoln junior Morgan Williams gave Lincoln a 2-1 lead on a breakaway goal.
With about 5 minutes left, East Providence striker Damian Monteiro came up big and with the equalizer: 2-2.
Lincoln’s next game is at home against Central Falls on September 2nd at 6PM, and East Providence goes on the road on September 5th to face Moses Brown at 12pm.
