NEWPORT, R.I. – (November 2, 2026) – BankNewport is pleased to announce that Sydney Santucci has been named vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s South Angell branch in Providence.
Santucci rejoined BankNewport in February 2026, having previously spent five years with the Bank beginning in 2019. She most recently served as assistant branch manager of the South Angell branch. Prior to rejoining BankNewport, she served as assistant branch manager at The Washington Trust Company.
In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, leading and developing the branch team, ensuring exceptional customer service, strengthening customer relationships, and developing business relationships and partnerships throughout the local community.
Santucci holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Wayland Square Merchants Association. A resident of North Providence, she is a native of Smithfield.
